Interested in hosting a table?
Here is some more information:
Set Up:
The PTSA will provide tables for participants. We can also provide a poster board (if requested in advance). We will provide plates, napkins and cups for water.
Food:
If you are presenting food, please cut into very small portions. There will be no utensils provided. We will have cards available to list ingredients (with a checklist for common allergens).
Music:
If you would like to provide songs from your culture or country, we'd love that! We will play the songs during the festival. Please send or email your songs to
programs@woodridgeptsa.org
Performance:
Performances are wonderful and welcome! We will play the background music (or video, if needed) during the festival. Please send or email your songs (or videos) to
programs@woodridgeptsa.org
Some Other Ideas to Bring to the Tables:
Fill your table with items from your country: Traditional clothes, flags, artwork, books, stories, poems, and/or artifacts
Display images or video of your country on a tablet
Bring a game or activity of your country
Traditional food
Wear Country customs or bring clothing to display
Dance! We have a stage available for dance performances
