December Movie Night and PTSA General Meeting
All are welcome to join us in the Woodridge Café on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 6:45 p.m. for a movie, treats, and General Membership Meeting.
Bring a blanket and/or chairs to make yourselves comfortable.
No drop offs, please.
Students must be accompanied by an adult.
PTSA Meeting starts at 6:45 p.m. / Movie starts at 7:15 p.m. Paid for by your donations to the Woodridge Elementary PTSA. More information will be posted around the school soon!
Vision and Hearing Re-screening

Nurse Natallia Kasmachova is looking for 3 volunteers to help with the annual vision and hearing rescreening for students at Woodridge Elementary on December 19th, 2024 from 8:45am - 11:00am.
No experience necessary.
These screenings are vital in ensuring that all students have equal access to learning by identifying any potential hearing issues early on.

Winter 2025 Wednesday art class by Creart Studio
One parent volunteer required, your child can participate for free!
Join us for a creative winter filled with fun projects like zentangle animals, clay pizza slices,
disco balls, and foil sculptures! From colorful maps with 2D/3D landmarks to oil pastel snow
scenes and pointillism landscapes, every class is packed with exciting art exploration.

"Math Is Cool" is Open for Registration!
Woodridge Math Club invites students to participate in the Math Is Cool competition. Math is Cool is a full-day regional math competition held in Renton, WA. Students participate in teams of 4, but are also welcome to register as individuals to compete in only the individual events.
This competition is open to 4th-5th graders. (3rd graders may register as 4th graders, though priorities will be given to 4th-5th graders due to the limited number of teams). We suggest that teams schedule practice sessions to familiarize students with the format of the events and the style of the questions. Past tests and rules are available at https://www.academicsarecool.com/
Dates:
5th Grade Champs: Saturday, March 8, 2025 (Renton WA), 9:15 am - 2:00 pm
4th Grade Champs: Saturday, March 22, 2025 (Renton WA), 9:15 am - 2:00 pm
Team fee: $60/team
Registration Deadline: January 24th or when 4 teams per grade are filled

Bellevue High School K-8 Dance Camp at Bellevue High School
Bellevue High School Co-ed Dance Team K-8 Mini Dance Camp registration is open through November 25th. Elementary and middle school students come join our team for a day of dance skills and fun as we learn routines to perform for your family and friends.
